My wife and I were visiting Zimanga Private Game Reserve in KwaZulu-Natal to celebrate her birthday, where we had the privilege of a wonderful wildlife experience with an emphasis on wildlife photography. I had kept our destination secret from her, so she was very excited when we arrived.
Our three days there were spent revelling in the majesty and wildlife diversity of this estate.
The pinnacle of the visit was our sleep-over in the waterhole hide. The game-viewing area provides sturdy tripods, comfortable adjustable chairs and is curtained off from the rest of the apartment to ensure no light shines through towards the wildlife.
